In this 2014 review study, researchers analyzed dozens of studies on Andrographis. Andrographis has been used as a traditional medicine in India, China, and Southeast Asia for centuries. Modern scientific evidence tells us the aerial parts of the plant possess most of the medicinal properties and can be used to treat snakebites, insect stings, fever, sore throat, cough, and stomach ache. Eleuthero is a small, woody shrub also linked to immune-boosting benefits. It’s also known as Siberian ginseng. The standard eleuthero dosage is 300 to 1,200mg per day, although studies have used 2,000 to 4,000mg with no side effects. Resistol contains just 120mg of eleuthero.
One of the unique ingredients in Resistol is prickly chaff flower, also known as Achyranthes Aspera, burweed, or devil’s horsewhip. We have not seen this ingredient in many other immune-boosting compounds, and there’s limited research exploring its connection to immunity.
